# Why was my account banned for automated or scripted use?

The web portal is intended for manual, interactive use. Accounts that exceed the automated query rate limit (30 queries per minute) are automatically flagged and access is temporarily suspended. If you need repeatable or higher-volume automated access, use the API instead — contact Sales about an appropriate plan. To request reinstatement, contact support.
